Minnesota Wild defenceman Alex Goligoski introduced his retirement after 17 seasons within the NHL.
Goligoski, 39, has suited up for 1,078 video games throughout 4 NHL groups, together with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Dallas Stars and Arizona Coyotes.
He first signed a one-year contract with the Wild in 2021, and re-signed for an additional two years in 2022.
He finishes his profession with 475 factors (87 targets, 388 assists) and a plus-55 ranking. He gained a Stanley Cup with the Penguins within the 2008-2009 season.
The Grand Rapids, Minn. native was chosen within the second spherical, 61st general, within the 2004 NHL Draft by the Penguins.
